Confessions

in the spirit of usher, chris brown, hugh grant, balloon boy's psycho dad....you get the idea; i've decided to confess my...confessions? (some secret, some not so secret)

in no particular order:

1-i love celine dion. (i'm putting it out there. if she ever stops singing amazingly corny love ballads, i fear my hear will not go on)

2-i find it 100% impossible to watch an episode of "friends" without quoting along with it aloud-alone in my apt or with a big group of people. it's like word vomit, and i'm not sorry.

3-in a competition of hot dogs vs. hamburgers, hot dogs win every single time- i love weiners. :)

4-when i was little, my only use for barbie dolls was when they played the roll of victim to all my troll dolls.

5-my first music concert was reba mcentire when i was 7 yrs old at thompson-bowling arena in ktown. i wore black cowboys jeans, a mock turtleneck, and a shoulder-padded plaid blazer. i was a badass.

6-if forced to listen to 1 song over and over for an eternity it would be "i want it that way" by the backstreet boys (some may know them as "bsb"). don't judge me.

7-the only thing i've read in the twilight series is the first 300 pages of new moon, only b\c it was in a pile of books at the house where i was house sitting and that's as far as i got before they got home. i thought it was absurd and ridiculous and melodramatic-i repeat: 300 pages (in 1 night).

8-i cannot remember all the states in alphabetical order in the "fifty nifty united states" song. when i get to maryland i stop and pick back up at tennessee. i apologize, mz. music at bluegrass elementary who looks like winefred sanderson from hocus pocus.

9-(not to be outdone by confession #1)....i love cher. i don't even know if love is a strong enough word...i have a cher wig, and i also do an impression. not gonna lie-it's pretty good. becky bird got me tix to her farewell concert for my bday a few years ago, and the show got canceled. bitter- party of 1.

10-if the movie "the secret of my success" starring michael j. fox comes on tv (like it tends to do every saturday in the summer on lifetime and\or wgn chicago) i watch it in its entirety. the music, the hair, the shoulder pads- it's got it all.
