It squeaks when you bang it. That's what she said.

I am so freakin excited about this show this season. I love The Office, and expectations were high in my mind when it premiered this fall. I had missed it all last season, and I was giddy with anticipation of what the season premiere would give me! Let's be honest here.....it got off to sort of a rocky start. They quickly killed the hilarious "hazing" joke of telling the new HR rep, Holly, that Kevin was retarded, which could have gone alot further. Pam started Art classes in NYC, and consequently is shy of absent from this season other than her voice via phone conversation with Jim- not cool. Thirdly, Serenity by Jan- enough said. But then, a little "romance" started blooming between good ole Michael Scott and the new HR dork, Holly. I'm lovin it! Michael's usually uncomfortable, off color, and just plain stupid jokes are a hit with the dweeby Holly! She even encourages the Yoda/Cosby impression!! So, with other highly anticipated shows this season (i.e. Greys, Private Practice, Kath & Kim) falling short of the Megan Bird Stamp of Approval, The Office stands alone at my number 1 choice of tv viewing.

So, who rounds out my top 5?......
#2: ER
-Sure, it's not as slutty as Grey's Anatomy, maybe not as fresh or as young.......but it is by far way more creative, not to mention just plain interesting this season than Grey's. I am literally falling asleep to the sound of Meredith Grey's half-lisp, depressed, slurred narration of each dull, predictable episode. Plus, it always has the ability to touch my heart each episode, and get me to cry....which is no small feat!

#3: The first 15 minutes of SNL

-I think the picture says it for me. Tina Fey= Genius, even if she is a hard core liberal Democrat, I can do nothing but laugh til my gut hurts when her Sarah Palin walks onscreen every Saturday night at 11:30...not to mention the Will Ferrell cameo last week! Why do I say only the 1st 15 minutes? Keep watching after the opening skit, and find out for yourself....
#4:
-I kind of hate to admit this, because substance and real-life storylines are lacking in this show......but it's so freaking addicting.........Dang you, Katie Bondurant and The OC!!

#5:
-When I actually stay up to watch this show (which is not very common these days) I freakin love it. Mainly, because I love Chelsea Handler! She says what everyone else is thinking!
